The Empire Strikes Boudoir

Cerah and I create a web of lies....

How did we do that you ask? What does a web of lies have to do with boudoir? I was so excited to make this session happen when she sent me a message. The plan was surprising her fiance with boudoir photos and adding in some of his collectable items. Our timeline was 2 weeks. Our dilemma was how do you get a Boba Fett helmet and light sabers out of the house without valid reason on a Sunday?

A cover story was formed.
Cerah and I have both worked together in the hair/makeup industry and have provided services to other talented photographers for their boudoir days. So obviously we were doing that again, right? *wink wink* And we needed some of the items to help with this nerdy concept that was happening. PERFECT.

We worked together to choose the perfect room to express her style at the Retro Suites in Chatham, On. Cerah is a gifted artist with a passion for theatrical arts. Her husband to be is also a creative, he's a photographer and they share their free time together doing theatre productions.

The Studio suite was the one! Artsy, bright, and playful.

A session may start out as being a gift for someone special in your life. However the ultimate goal is loving yourself, and your images. You come in nervous, even IF you know your photographer well. You leave feeling empowered and confident.

Cerah ROCKED her session.
She kept the web of lies going by sending fake updates as the day went on. How busy it was. That there were extra people added to the day. She sold it. Which made him even more entertained when she shared the gallery with him.
